Shony Rivnay is an interdisciplinary Israeli-American artist based in Tel Aviv, Israel. He works in various media including painting, sculpture, video, installation, and performance. Rivnay has exhibited solo shows in numerous locations around the globe including Bosi Contemporary (NYC), TEMP Art Space (NYC), Artists House Tel Aviv (IS), Hamburger Bahnhof Museum Campus (Berlin), SPRING/BREAK Art Fair (NYC), Nulobaz Cooperative Art Space (IS), and Tavi Dresdner Gallery (IS). Rivnay has participated in group shows in venues such as the Tel Aviv Museum of Art (TLV), Youkobo Art Space (Tokyo), CICA Museum (South Korea), Shay Arye Gallery (IS), Florentin 45 Contemporary Art Space (IS), Beit Hatfutsot (IS), The Negev Museum of Art (IS), and Ein Hod Museum of Art (IS), among others. Rivnay has participated at the prestigious I-Park Residency (USA), and HomeBase Residency (Germany). Recent solo shows include How Things Work, curated by Nogah Davidson; Unfolding, curated by Sarah Crown; Nature of Wonder, Curated by Tzili Charney; Wave Theory , curated by Arie Berkowiz; and Unfolding Nature: Dancing Through Waves, curated by Erica Hartman-Horvitz. Rivnay’s works are in private and public collections worldwide. He holds a BFA from Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design, Jerusalem, Israel.
